Nissan has officially announced that the GT-R will be ending production for the North American market this October. It’s sending the beloved performance car out in style with two limited-run models. Two Special Editions
The Skyline Edition is priced at $131,090 and takes a name that has long been known overseas and brings it to the US. It builds on the GT-R Premium with brilliant Bayside Blue paint. This paint was originally retired after the last generation GT-R, but came back in 2019 for the 50th Anniversary model.

The Takumi Edition is priced at $151,090 and builds on the T-spec. Its name comes from the legendary takumi who are the craftsmen that hand-assemble the engine. It includes an engine badge acknowledging their work in red-etched writing. The engine bay will also house a gold plate with the VIN.

A Very Limited Production Run
The exterior of the Takumi gets Midnight Purple paint, which is a reference to the most iconic Skyline/GT-R special editions. The interior is adorned in exclusive Mori Green. There are also performance upgrades including GT-R Nismo carbon-ceramic brakes, gold-painted Nismo Rays 20-inch forged wheels, Nismo-tuned vehicle dynamic control, and wider front fenders.
