Anant Ambani and family were seen using heavily decorated Rolls Royce and S680 Maybach. However, did you know that it is not just the people who have dedicated cars when it comes to Ambanis? Even their pet “Happy,” a golden retriever, uses a Mercedes-Benz G400d luxury SUV.

The images of the G400d SUV had surfaced online recently. The images were shared by Automobili Ardent India on their Instagram page. The Ambani family uses several G63 AMG SUVs in their security convoy. The family also owns the G63 AMG. However, the G400d is different from them all. This is a diesel SUV and does not fit the lot.
However, it is an SUV that was specifically bought to serve a purpose. We have seen several videos of Anant Ambani’s dog “Happy” online, and the SUV is used by Anant’s golden retriever. The post mentions that before the G400d, Happy used to travel in a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Vellfire.
It should be noted that both Fortuner and Vellfire are not cheap by any means. A Toyota Fortuner would cost you around Rs 50 lakh, and the Vellfire would cost you around Rs 1.5 crore. The G400d SUV seen here in the images costs around Rs 2.55 crore, ex-showroom.

G 400d
The 400d is actually a replacement for the G 350d that was available in the market. This 400d was launched in the market earlier this year. The 400d is powered by a 3.0-litre OM656, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine. This engine generates 330 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. The SUV is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV is available in two variants. There is an Adventure Edition with body elements giving the SUV a rugged look and an AMG Line. It looks like the Ambanis have bought the AMG Line variant.
Just like any Mercedes-Benz vehicle, the G 400d also offers several premium features. It gets a sliding sunroof, a Burmester sound system, 64 colours of ambient lighting, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and so on.
Anant Ambani’s Cullinan
Anant Ambani was seen arriving for the wedding in a Rolls Royce Cullinan. The SUV was heavily decorated. This was the Black Badge SUV that Mukesh Ambani had gifted Nita Ambani last year during Diwali. The SUV is finished in a shade of matte orange, and the whole car was decorated using garlands and a mesh sheet finished in a golden shade. The mesh was laid over the car, and it was actually hiding the beauty of the vehicle. Many other cars from Jio Garage were also decorated in a similar manner.
