Maruti Suzuki is currently offering massive discounts on its lifestyle off-roader Jimny in India. In some states, these discounts have even reached around Rs 3.5 lakh. Recently, showing a delivery of one such heavily discounted Jimny, a video has been shared online. In this video, the owner of the Jimny explains all the details of the discounts he has received. Also, the video shows the delivery experience of the new Jimny from a Nexa dealership.
This video of the Jimny delivery has been shared on YouTube by Teen Haryanvi on their channel. It starts with the family taking a bus to the Nexa dealership. After this, they reach the Nexa dealership and begin the wait before their delivery slot. During this time, the owner of the car explains the exact pricing and discount details of his Jimny.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny July discounts
In the video, the owner shows a whiteboard on which all the details of the pricing and the discounts were written. He starts by mentioning that the ex-showroom price of the Jimny Alpha AT single tone is Rs 14.79 lakh. On this, the added price of insurance is Rs 43,200, RTO is Rs 1,22,975, and Rs 35,129 for an extended warranty.
He adds that there is a 1 percent TCS as well, which comes out to about Rs 14,790, and there is also an MSR, which is Rs 885. So the total on-road price comes out to about Rs 16,95,979. Next up, he starts explaining all the discounts currently on offer from the brand in the month of July.
The vlogger mentions that the first and most major chunk of the discount comes from the company, which is Rs 2.25 lakh. Following this, there is a Rs 1 lakh discount on finance. He explains that if the buyer chooses finance from Maruti Suzuki, which they facilitate through different private and national banks, customers can avail themselves of this Rs 1 lakh discount.
Next up, he adds that the dealership has also added a discount of Rs 25,000 on top of all the discounts from Maruti Suzuki. The owner then also mentions that if you skip a few additional add-ons on the insurance policy, you can save around Rs 6,000. Lastly, he highlights that if you do not need it, you can also take off the extended warranty cost of Rs 35,129.
So after calculating, the final cost of the Jimny Alpha AT single tone variant comes out to Rs 13,04,850. He adds that if you wish to go for the dual-tone variant, the price will increase by Rs 20,000. Additionally, he mentions that this pricing is for the state of Haryana, so the on-road price could differ depending upon the state.

Following the explanation, the vlogger and his family then take the delivery of their Jimny finished in the stunning black shade. He then shows how to perform a Pre-Delivery Inspection of the car. He first checks the date of manufacturing of all tires. He then also checks all the windows. Lastly, he checks for all the buttons, lights, and other electrical equipment.
