Other than participating in reality shows, Abhishek is a television actor and has been part of a couple of series. A video was recently posted by the actor on his YouTube channel, where he is seen taking delivery of his Jeep Wrangler SUV.
The video has been shared by Aeby Born to Shine on their YouTube channel. He starts the video from his home, where he is seen having a conversation with his mother. He speaks about the new car that he is planning to buy or has already bought and is going to take delivery of. After some time, the actor, along with his parents and a friend, drives to a dealership in Chandigarh.
The car was ready for delivery, and the actor was excited. He mentions that he has thought about this car, and the only reason why he is buying it is because he needs it. It looks like the actor often stays in Mumbai for his shoots and other business activities, and he has suffered a lot because of the Mumbai monsoon and flooding.
He even talks about how he once drove his Mahindra Thar all the way from Mumbai to Punjab. Another reason why he is buying an SUV is because of the roads and the conditions around the area where he lives.
If he owns an SUV, he can simply drive over any hurdle without worrying about it much. As Wranglers are 5-door SUVs, his mother can easily get in and out of the rear seat. He mentions that this was a problem that his mother faced most of the time in their Thar.
The car was then revealed to the customers, and everyone was happy. The actor has bought a Wrangler Rubicon. It is not a brand new SUV, but he decided to go for a used one. He bought the SUV from Auto Gallery, which is a premium used car dealer in Chandigarh. The actor bought the SUV in a grey shade with red inserts.
It is not a stock SUV, and we see a custom exhaust and aftermarket wheels on it. The actor even takes the car for a spin and comes back happy. The dealership staff even explain some of the features of the Wrangler before handing it over. The SUV seen here in the video is a 2021 model Jeep Wrangler.
The actor can be heard saying that he always dreamt of owning an SUV like this. His dream car was a Mahindra Thar, which he already bought, and the new Wrangler is much bigger when it comes to dreams. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 268 Bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it also gets a proper 4×4 system.
The prices of Jeep Wranglers have come down, and the prices of a brand new one would start around Rs 67.65 lakh, ex-showroom, and go up to Rs 71.65 lakh, ex-showroom. The car that Abhishek bought is not new, and we checked the Instagram page of the used car dealer online and found that the same car was listed for around Rs 61.90 lakh. We hope the actor negotiated well before making the final call.
