Kapoor is a very strong surname in Bollywood. One of the youngest members of the Kapoor family to enter the film industry is Khushi Kapoor. She’s the daughter of popular Indian film producer Boney Kapoor and the late Bollywood actress Sridevi. She made her movie debut in 2024’s Naadaniyaan. Before that, Khushi acted in several short films and the Netflix movie The Archies. It looks like the young actress has now got herself a new ride, as she was recently spotted in a red-colored Mercedes-Benz G 400d luxury SUV.
We recently came across a video online where we see Khushi Kapoor sitting in the co-passenger seat of a red-colored SUV. We do not see the front of the SUV, but it is unmistakably a Mercedes-Benz G-Class. We were unsure if it was the G63 AMG or the recently launched G 400d. We ran the registration number of the SUV online and found that it was the diesel version.
The SUV was bought by the actress in January this year, and it is registered under her name as well. We see Khushi sitting in the co-passenger seat while the car moves forward.
The G 400d is actually a replacement for the G 350d that was previously available in the market. This 400d was launched earlier this year. It is powered by a 3.0-litre OM656, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine. This engine generates 330 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. The SUV is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV is available in two variants. There is an Adventure Edition with body elements giving the SUV a rugged look and an AMG Line variant. The SUV seen here looks like the AMG Line variant.
Just like any Mercedes-Benz vehicle, the G 400d also offers several premium features. It includes a sliding sunroof, a Burmester sound system, 64 colors of ambient lighting, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and more.
The G 400d is fairly new, and not many celebrities own one yet. Many actors like Suniel Shetty and Sara Ali Khan own the older G 350d SUV. Even her sister, Janhvi Kapoor, also owns a G 350d. However, there is one popular internet personality who got the G 400d even before any actors from Bollywood.
The personality is actually not a human but a dog. Ambani’s pet, “Happy,” a golden retriever, uses a G 400d. It is a white-colored G 400d AMG Line variant. Besides the G 400d, “Happy” also uses a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Vellfire to travel around. The Ambanis also use several G63 AMG SUVs as security cars in their convoy. They have both the current and older generation G63 AMGs in their garage.
Apart from the G 350d and G 400d, the Mercedes G63 AMG is also an extremely popular SUV among celebrities in Bollywood. Actors like Jimmy Shergill, Ranbir Kapoor, Rohit Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Amrita Arora, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Dulquer Salmaan all own a G63 AMG. Many cricketers like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Hardik Pandya also own the G63 AMG luxury SUV, which starts at Rs 2.45 crore and goes up to Rs 3.30 crore (ex-showroom).
