Salman Khan Imports Second Bulletproof Nissan Patrol From Dubai After Lawrence Bishnoi Threat

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan finds himself under heavy security yet again after receiving fresh death threats. As part of improving security, he has reportedly imported a brand new bulletproof Nissan Patrol from Dubai, which happens to be the second in his Indian fleet. Buying the Patrol in UAE and getting it shipped immediately should have cost him a handsome sum.

Salman Khan Under Threat?

The latest security concern arises just days after the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was a close friend of the actor. The shocking incident occurred on October 12, when three armed men shot Siddique outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai’s Neelamnagar area.

The assassination has stirred up not only political circles but also the entertainment industry at large. Salman Khan, being a high-profile figure and a close friend of the victim, has become a key point of concern. It is no secret that the Bishnoi gang has a thing against him.

Heightened Security

As part of tightening security, a new bulletproof vehicle has been imported to India from Dubai- a Nissan Patrol. Nissan doesn’t sell the Patrol in India. The vehicle is valued at around 2 crore. The cost of any additional armour or security mods and import charges would be extra. Salman will likely use the new SUV to commute to his office and to the sets of Big Boss, and for other personal travel.

Why the Nissan Patrol?

Salman Khan’s choice of the Nissan Patrol is not a random one. The vehicle is designed to meet the top-notch security requirements of high-profile individuals- be it world leaders, business tycoons or other VIPs.

It comes with bulletproof glass and can withstand point-blank bullet shots. Additionally, the SUV also comes with explosive alert indicators. Another important feature is the camouflage black shades that help conceal the identity of the driver and passengers. Additional armour and security modifications are also likely to have been done to the vehicle.

The Dabangg actor had previously imported another bulletproof Patrol from the UAE, in response to another death threat from the same gang. He also owns several other bulletproof vehicles like a brand new Range Rover and Land Cruiser.

Connection To The Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Salman Khan has been a target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for quite some time. The gang has publicly made threats against him in the past. Now, with Baba Siddique’s murder, things seem to have escalated.

Reports suggest that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the NCP leader’s murder. They reportedly issued a fresh threat to Salman. They sent a WhatsApp message to the Mumbai Police demanding ₹5 crore from the actor, should he wish to end his enmity with them. It further said that failing to do so would lead to Salman Khan having to face a fate worse than that of Baba Siddique.

This threat is a testament to the Bishnoi gang’s growing power and boldness and the same is raising concerns. The Mumbai Police have taken these very seriously and heightened the actor’s security.

In the past, the gang has expressed hostility toward the actor, reportedly due to his involvement in a blackbuck poaching case. Lawrence Bishnoi, the gang leader, holds a deep grudge against Khan, as blackbucks are considered sacred in the Bishnoi culture. The gang has issued several threats over the years and the actor has consistently taken precautions to ensure his safety.
