Mahindra Thar is a lifestyle off-roader that has been designed to drive on any terrain. However, some Thar owners forget that, being a machine, it also has its limits. Unfortunately, some Thar drivers find this out the hard way, and recently a video of one such Thar being stuck has been shared online. This particular Thar was seen stuck on a divider, and it had to be rescued with the help of a crane.
Mahindra Thar stuck on divider
The video showing the Mahindra Thar stuck on a divider has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of 1 Minute Facts. In this short video, a black Mahindra Thar from Uttar Pradesh can be seen stuck on a divider. Most likely, the owner of the vehicle was trying to show off its off-roading skills.
However, due to a lack of experience and the divider being too wide, this Thar could not cross it and instead got stuck. The video then shows that a crane had to be called to the location to rescue this Thar. It can be seen that this Thar was strapped onto a crane and was finally removed from the divider.
Not the first time
Back in June of last year, another video of a Mahindra Thar getting stuck in the middle of slush was shared online. In this video, a brand-new Mahindra Thar was seen submerged in slush up to its window line. As per the vlogger, the Thar driver drove the vehicle onto the road, thinking it was the same as the previous day.
However, during the night, JCBs and trucks had created a deep slush on the road, which the driver was unaware of. Following this, the Thar entered the slush and got stuck. The video shows that a JCB had to be called to retrieve this Thar from the mud.
Thankfully, even after being stuck for a long time, the headlights, indicators, and other electrical components were working. Also, the engine of the vehicle did not suffer any major issues, and it was safe.
Thar stuck in river
Over the last few months, we have seen numerous Mahindra Thars getting stuck in rivers. In most cases, the drivers overestimate the capabilities of this lifestyle off-roader and eventually get stuck in the river. A few weeks ago, a video was shared from Jamshedpur in which a Thar was seen stuck in the middle of a river.

What happened was that the Thar driver, along with three of his friends, was crossing the river for fun. As per the video, they crossed the river twice. However, on the third attempt, the driver mistakenly drove it into a deeper patch where it got stuck.
As a result, the vehicle started drifting away with the water current. It was reported that, despite the vehicle being at risk of complete submergence, the driver did not leave the vehicle. He insisted that he would only come out with the vehicle. However, he eventually gave up and was rescued.
Know the limits
As stated, there are thousands of incidents in which even the most capable vehicles get stuck. In all cases, it boils down to the skills of the drivers, and those who have enough skill know the limits of their vehicles. For this reason, they do not take on obstacles they know can either damage their vehicle or put their life in jeopardy.
