The master blaster and the legend of Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, has bought himself a brand-new luxury sedan. He was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport in his Rs 90 lakh BMW M340i LCI xDrive Shadow. The humble cricket star was seen taking out his own bag from his sedan and waving goodbye to his fans waiting to catch a glimpse of him outside the airport.

This video showing the arrival of Sachin Tendulkar at Mumbai airport in his new BMW sedan has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You on their channel. In this short video, Sachin can be seen exiting his brand-new BMW M340i LCI xDrive Shadow and talking to his associates.
During this, he goes to the rear and takes out his bag himself. Following this, the cricket legend waves goodbye to his fans and even clicks a selfie with one of them. He then finally enters the airport with police personnel around him.
BMW M340i LCI xDrive Shadow
As stated, Sachin Tendulkar has opted for the most expensive version of the BMW 3 Series luxury sedan, finished in the stunning shade of bright red. The M340i LCI xDrive Shadow, for those who may not be aware, is the sportier version of the luxury saloon, which comes with the popular B58 Gen 2 engine.
It is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that comes with a 48V mild-hybrid assist. This particular model makes 368 bhp and 500 Nm of torque and features BMW’s signature xDrive all-wheel-drive system. As for the transmission, it gets an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox.
2024 BMW M340i launched
Just a few days ago, the German luxury automotive giant BMW launched the newest generation of the M340i. It gets the same B58 motor, but it now makes 374 bhp instead of the 368 of the pre-facelift model. As for the other changes, it now gets a new set of 19-inch black alloy wheels.
On the inside, BMW is now offering the M340i with Vernasca leather seat covers with M stitching. The new sedan also gets a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. They both now also feature the latest 8.5 BMW operating system. BMW has also increased the price of the new M340i by Rs 2 lakh, and it now starts at Rs 74.9 lakh.

Apart from the BMW M340i, the cricketer has owned a number of different vehicles from this German luxury carmaker. This is primarily due to him being the brand ambassador of BMW, a role he was appointed to back in 2012.

Sachin Tendulkar owns a stunning black BMW 750Li M Sport. This luxury saloon is equipped with a massive 4.4-litre turbo V8 motor, and it is capable of producing 450 bhp and 650 Nm of torque.

The cricketing star also owns the very unique and rare-in-India BMW i8 hybrid sports car. He was originally delivered this sports car in the shade of white. However, since then, he has modified it with an aftermarket body kit, and it is now finished in a unique red color.
BMW X5M
Sachin also owns a unique BMW X5M SUV, which is one of the most powerful iterations of this family SUV. It comes equipped with a 4.4-litre V8 engine, which makes 575 bhp and 750 Nm of torque.
