Bollywood actors buying expensive cars is not a new thing. They often update their garages with the latest models to match their status. However, if you look at the latest trend, many of them have been switching to electric cars as they are getting benefits and also offering all the comfort that was offered earlier from an ICE luxury car. One of the upcoming actresses from Bollywood, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, also bought a Kia EV6 electric crossover and was recently spotted with the car outside her gym.
The video has been shared by Cars For You on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see Akansha Ranjan get out of her new electric car. Just as she was about to walk into the gym, photographers and vloggers stop her and ask her to pose for pictures. She does the same while her car was parked on the side of the road.
Her driver was actually looking for a gap to join the road and drive the car away. However, the vlogger took this opportunity to click pictures and videos of the actress with the car. Coming to the video, we don’t see much of the car in this video as the vlogger was busy recording the actress.
Coming to the Kia EV6, it is currently the most expensive Kia product in the Indian market. It is also an electric vehicle. The actress bought the electric crossover in the white shade, which looks premium.
It has an extremely sharp and sporty-looking design. The sleek-looking all-LED headlamps, LED DRLs, split front grille, and sloping bonnet with the Kia logo all give the car a premium look. In pictures, the Kia EV6 may look small to many. Many may mistake it for a hatchback; however, it is actually a crossover that is 4,695 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, and 1,550 mm tall.
It runs on 19-inch alloy wheels. There are LED taillamps with connecting LED bars on the boot. The charging port on this electric car is positioned on the rear fender just below the taillamp. EV6 is a car loaded with features. It gets electrically adjustable driver and co-passenger seats with memory function, two digital screens on the dashboard, rotary-style gear knob, and 360-degree camera with ADAS features.
Kia is sold in India as a CBU. It is powered by a 77.4 kWh battery pack located under the floor. There are RWD and AWD versions of the EV6 available in the market. The RWD version generates 229 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque, while the AWD variant generates 325 PS and 605 Nm of peak torque. We are not sure which variant the actress bought.
The price for a brand new Kia EV6 starts at Rs 64.11 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes all the way to Rs 69.35 lakh, ex-showroom. It directly competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the segment.
Many prominent personalities, like former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni and popular Malayalam actor Mohanlal, own a Kia EV6. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, along with his wife Amala, also owns a Kia EV6 electric crossover.
