Recently, Ajay Devgn made an appearance at the trailer launch of a Gujarati film in his Maybach GLS600 luxury SUV, valued at Rs 3 crore.
The video was shared by “Cars For You” on their YouTube channel. This specific channel showcases videos featuring Bollywood celebrities and their costly vehicles. Although the video claims this GLS600 to be Ajay Devgn’s new addition, that information is inaccurate. Ajay has been seen with this SUV previously and has been using it for some time. The black SUV gracefully enters the compound of the venue where the event was organized. Ajay Devgn steps out from the passenger seat and proceeds inside the building. He takes a moment to pose for photographs.

The remainder of the video revolves around the trailer launch and movie promotion. One distinctive feature of the GLS600 is the string of chili peppers and lemons hanging from the lower part of the bumper. In India, it’s customary for people to hang this string of lemons and chilies in front of houses and vehicles as a means of protection against the evil eye. This practice is also considered a symbol of good luck in some regions. Ajay Devgn follows this ritual for all his vehicles, signifying his attachment to the cars he owns.
Returning to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600, it stands as Mercedes’ flagship SUV in India. Furthermore, it is the first-ever Maybach SUV officially available in India. The SUV swiftly gained popularity among celebrities and affluent business figures. It boasts an array of top-tier premium features, including lounge-style seating, a panoramic sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment package, a compact refrigerator, a Burmester audio system, and a virtual assistant. The SUV’s price varies based on the customization preferences of the owners.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 draws power from a 4.0-liter V8 engine, complemented by a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine delivers a peak power output of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system can provide an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque on demand. A 9-speed automatic transmission channels the power to all four wheels. In addition to the Maybach, Ajay Devgn possesses an array of cars including the Mercedes-Benz S 450 4MATIC, Rolls Royce Cullinan, BMW 7-Series, BMW X7, Range Rover Vogue, Audi Q7, Mini Cooper, and Audi A5 Sportback. Notably, he also owns a BMW i7 electric luxury sedan, marking his first all-electric vehicle. This particular sedan also represents BMW’s flagship all-electric model. The price of this all-electric sedan is approximately Rs 2 crore.
