The build from Town & Country Ford is cheaper than getting a V8-powered F-150 XL for $37,145 and then upgrading it with the $12,350 Ford Performance FP700 kit. Also, you’d be slightly down on output if you go for the FP700, rated for 700 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
There’s a bit of a catch, though. The Roush Performance kit TC Customs uses for 2022-2023 F-150 builds is not yet legal in 50 states, pending its CARB EO serial number. The Ford Performance FP700 kit, meanwhile, is allowed nationwide.
If a buyer wants to take it up a notch, TC Customs also has Stage 1, 2, and 3 kits for your dose of other aftermarket upgrades beyond the Roush TVS supercharger.
