Alain Prost's Unloved Ferrari F40 Is Up For Grabs

The car has had a few owners and has Ferrari Classiche certification, meaning it still has its original chassis, engine, gearbox, and bodywork. It briefly returned to Maranello for the Concours at Fiorano, celebrating Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, and placed second in its class.

The car is still on its original tires but comes with a set dated 2018, which we would still be skeptical about using. Pirelli still makes tires that fit and cost around $800 each. That’s comparable with the tire price for a Ferrari SF90.

Currently, the twin-turbo V8 car is in France and will be sold with just 2,900 miles on the clock and a set of Schedoni luggage. The auction will take place 10-12 May in Lyon.
