After a few months of waiting, images of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante have been revealed and the wait has most definitely been worth it. While Aston Martin had originally announced in January that the DBS 770 Ultimate would be available in both a coupe and convertible version, it’s only now that we’re seeing the Volante variant.
In the images, we see a roofless version of the already stunning DBS 770 Ultimate model. The absence of the top allows us to peer inside the stylish interior that features a tan and carbon fiber scheme. Of course, there are many other colors available for both the interior and exterior of the model and they can be viewed through Aston Martin’s online configurator. However, it should be noted that all 199 examples of the DBS 770 Ultimate Volante have been sold, which is actually a lower production number than its coupe sibling (300 examples).
For power, this Aston Martin DBS relies on the same twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine found in the coupe. This engine pumps out a menacing 759 horsepower (770 PS) and 664 lb-ft of torque. The automaker notes that this power is enough to propel the convertible to a top speed of 211 mph and run 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
The world can expect to see the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante towards the end of this year as deliveries are expected around Q3 of 2023.
