Aston Martin Mid-Engine Supercars Will Be Limited Editions From Now On

Former Aston Martin CEO Tobias Moers revealed to CarBuzz last year that the brand would not let all its offerings go electric: “Mid-engine Aston Martins will not go electric,” said Moers. “Front-engine sports cars and SUVs, yes, they can be electric, but the mid-engine program will never go electric.”

Moers may not be CEO anymore, but the proclamation was made long after Stroll’s consortium took control of the company, and we doubt the British manufacturer would change its mind on this decision.

Aston Martin will be introducing hybrids and a full EV soon, securing its long-term future. Exclusive mid-engine cars like the Valhalla and whatever follows it will increase its brand value and desirability.

In short, Aston Martin looks to have a clear strategy for the future, and for the first time in years, Aston Martin’s future looks very promising. A tip of the hat to Mr. Stroll.
