Barn Find Bentley! 1936 Drop Head Coupe! Fresh out of 50 years of storage!
We’re just going to let Chad Ehrlich tell the story of this one right here, after all, it’s his video. We’ll have even more videos to share too!
Video Description:
Our good friend Doug Pray with the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. in Broken Arrow, OK is used to being around amazing cars. His dad Glen bought the company in 1960 and Doug has been around these amazing cars for most of his life! BUT, when he finds one that has been tucked away for decades, he still gets excited just like all of us!!!!
We recently showed you the 1931 Duesenberg Model J that he discovered, and now, it’s a Bentley!!!! The Duesenberg had already been sold before we showed it to you, but this Bentley is available and it is heading to Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2023 in a few short weeks!
This 1936 Bentley 4 1/4 Litre Drop Head Coupe was found right in Tulsa. It was found in an area of town that was known for old oil money. This car was tucked away 50 years ago and had not seen the light of day until Doug’s crew moved it to the ACD Factory!
This car is really amazing! It is about as complete and intact as anyone could ever dream of finding one of these cars!!! It even still has the original tool kit!!!! This car is heavily documented with original records from Bentley that even include the original dyno sheet from when the engine was new in 1936!!!!!
EVERYTHING on this car matches and is correct, all the way down to the small fire extinguisher! It is an amazing car that could be enjoyed as is OR it is probably the best one out there left for a full restoration! Let’s check this thing out and be sure to check out the full Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. playlist for more absolutely amazing cars!!!!!
