Other rumored updates to the BMW M240i are a more premium-looking interior and new wheel options.
Since no performance tweaks were mentioned, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six should still produce 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the BMW M2, the M240i doesn’t have a manual gearbox option, so future owners only get a two-pedal driving experience operated by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
We’re unsure whether there will be a price movement, considering the rumor suggests interior updates are in the works. BMW currently offers the M240i Coupe for $49,700, with the xDrive option at $51,700.
