2024 is the year of the luxury carmaker Range Rover. We say this because, every month, a few Bollywood celebrities are adding an SUV from this brand to their garage. The most recent celebrity to bring home a new Range Rover is popular actor Arjun Kapoor. The “Gunday” fame actor has bought himself a Range Rover LWB HSE priced at Rs 2.8 crore.
The video of Arjun Kapoor’s latest SUV has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Cars For You. In the short clip, we can note a white Range Rover reversing out of Arjun Kapoor’s residence in Juhu, Mumbai. It should be noted that the actor was not seen driving the vehicle.
Arjun Kapoor’s Range Rover
Arjun Kapoor has opted for the Range Rover LWB HSE variant of this SUV. As for the color, he has chosen the classy Fuji White shade, which is a very popular color option. Arjun Kapoor’s sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor, has also recently bought the same Range Rover finished in the same color.
This particular variant is priced at Rs 2.36 crore (ex-showroom), and its on-road price is around Rs 2.8 crore. The Range Rover LWB HSE variant comes powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine. This engine makes 345 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Power is sent to all four wheels, and it gets a number of different driving modes. As for the features, this variant comes equipped with a ton of bells and whistles. On the outside, it gets sleek LED headlights, flush-type door handles, and massive 22-inch alloy wheels.
The list includes a floating curved 13.1-inch touch display featuring the Pivi Pro software and a 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with 35 speakers. There is also a 13.7-inch instrument panel, heads-up display, and four-zone climate control.
Arjun Kapoor’s SUV Craze
Apart from the newest addition, Range Rover, Arjun Kapoor also owns a few other luxury SUVs. The main highlight of his collection is his Rs 4.5 crore Mercedes Maybach GLS 600. He was one of the first Bollywood actors to buy this SUV. The actor took delivery of his Maybach GLS 600 back in December of 2021.
He has chosen the classy shade of Brilliant Blue. This is the exact same color which his “Gunday” co-star Ranveer Singh chose for his Maybach GLS 600. This luxury SUV comes equipped with a massive 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It makes 558 bhp of max power and a peak torque output of 730 Nm.
It comes mated to a 48-volt electrical system that provides an additional boost of 22 bhp and 250 Nm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
The actor also owns a Land Rover Defender 110. This particular SUV is finished in the lovely shade of Pangea Green. The exact engine option chosen by the actor is unknown. In addition to these SUVs, he also owns a blue Maserati Levante. Powering the Levante is a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that outputs 271 bhp and 600 Nm.
Arjun Kapoor Has Also Bought an EV Scooter
Just a few days ago, the actor also took delivery of a brand new BGauss RUV350 electric scooter. This electric scooter was delivered to him at his home in Juhu. This electric scooter starts at Rs 1.09 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.34 lakh.
It comes powered by a 3 kWh battery pack and offers a range of 120 km. It should be noted that the 120 km range is offered only by the top-spec Max variant. The two other variants of this scooter come with a 2.3 kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of 90 km.
