The most recent celebrity from B-Town to get a new Range Rover is none other than the popular actress Sushmita Sen. She was recently spotted arriving at a birthday party in Mumbai in her newly bought Range Rover worth Rs 3 crore. Sushmita Sen also bought a Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG worth Rs 1.63 crore last year.
Sushmita Sen Buys New Range Rover
The video showing Sushmita Sen with her new Range Rover has been shared on YouTube by Car For You. The actress was seen arriving at the birthday party of the Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu. She was seen arriving at the restaurant in her Lantau Bronze-colored SUV.
Apart from her, Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was also at the party. He arrived in his Bentley Flying Spur. Additionally, the popular Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh arrived in his BMW X7, and television actor Karan Kundra was also seen arriving in his Jeep Wrangler.
Sushmita Sen’s New Range Rover
The popular Bollywood actress has bought herself the Range Rover Autobiography LWB variant. As mentioned, her SUV is finished in the lovely shade of Lantau Bronze. This new color was launched by Range Rover for its newest generation model.
Presently, the new Range Rover in India comes in three variants. The first is the LWB HSE variant, which is priced at Rs 2.36 crore. On the other hand, there is Sushmita Sen’s Autobiography LWB variant, which is priced at Rs 2.68 crore.
Lastly, the company has also recently launched a new SV Ranthambore Edition, which is priced at a whopping Rs 4.98 crore. This new model is limited to only 12 units. On the outside, it gets a deep black exterior color with Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents. It also gets 23-inch dark grey alloy wheels.
Moving on to the inside, it gets Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather that comes with contrast stitching. It also gets Ranthambore Edition scuff plates and “1 of 12” badging. This particular model comes powered by a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine that makes 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque.
Most likely, this is the same engine that has been chosen by Sushmita Sen for her Range Rover Autobiography LWB variant. Apart from this engine, the British luxury carmaker offers a 3.0-litre diesel engine as well, which makes 346 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.
Sushmita Sen’s Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53
As mentioned above, the actress, last year in January, also bought herself a Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe, which costs Rs 1.63 crore. She bought this SUV finished in the lovely shade of Obsidian Black. This is a unique choice of SUV, as mostly automotive enthusiasts who love the AMG brand (Mercedes-Benz’s performance division) choose it.
This SUV comes powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine which comes equipped with a mild hybrid system. It makes an incredible 435 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. As for transmission, it comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox, and it can do a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds.
Features of this SUV include a 13-speaker Burmester audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, and 64-color ambient lighting. It also gets a panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate. Apart from Range Rover and AMG GLE 53 Coupe the actress also owns a humble white MG Gloster SUV as well.
