For the next stage of the build, the Z06 received a new cold air intake system and throttle body. It was then ported, received a custom cam kit, and got new pulleys. Aside from this, it has new headers, a custom exhaust system, and a revamped fuel system, which includes a bigger fuel pump and injectors. It then received a flex-fuel sensor and gauge, allowing it to run on either 93-octane fuel or E85.
LMR squeezed more power, now producing 874 hp and 826 Nm of torque (609 ft-lb of torque), translating to over 900 horses at the crank.
