At the beginning of the video, the drifter and owner of this beast says its engine was recently rebuilt. The issue, though, is that its onboard electronics weren’t working well with the new power plant. As such, Forsberg and his team gave it a new Link engine harness that will go along with its new Hartstock ECU. The latter replaces the old “Big Stuff 3” fuel injection computer – an obsolete product from 2009.
However, the process isn’t as easy as it sounds. They had to provide the car with a bunch of new sensors that were compatible with the new ECU. These include the ones for each cylinder, injector, and coil. It also received new spark plugs from NGK for good measure.
