French car manufacturer Citroen recently unveiled its all-new SUV, the C3 Aircross, in India. The C3 Aircross SUV is the fourth offering from the brand after the C5 Aircross, C3, and eC3. The manufacturer has announced that it will launch the all-new SUV in the second half of 2023, and it will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the segment. Several videos of the SUV have started appearing online, including a walkaround video where a vlogger shows the exterior and interior of the upcoming SUV in detail.
The video has been uploaded by Her Garage on her YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about the exterior, interior, and features of this upcoming SUV. The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV looks similar to the hatchback that was introduced in the market last year. The Y-shaped LED DRL is similar to what we have seen on the hatchback. The front grille gets a gloss black element along with a chrome strip that joins the Citroen logo in the middle. The turn indicators and pilot lamps are integrated into the upper LED DRL strip and are halogen units. The headlamp on this SUV is positioned on the bumper of the SUV, just like how we have seen on other Citroen models in India. The headlamp is also a halogen unit.

The bumper gets a muscular design, and there are halogen fog lamps integrated into the lower part of it. The overall design of this SUV looks similar to other SUVs from the family. Coming to the side profile, the SUV gets thick black claddings around the wheel arches. There is a black cladding on the door, and a skirting is also visible here. The side profile of the SUV looks just like the regular C3, but only stretched. The C3 Aircross SUV is 4.3 meters long, as long as the Creta. The C3 Aircross is, however, slightly taller and wider than the Creta. It also offers the longest wheelbase in the segment.
The car comes with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and the door handles are old flap type units with no request sensors. The C3 Aircross gets C-shaped tail lamps, which are also halogen units. There is a black strip running across the boot of the SUV, connecting the tail lights. The rear also gets a muscular-looking overall design. The interior of the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV looks similar to the hatchback version. However, the instrument cluster on this SUV has been updated. It now gets a fully digital color instrument cluster. The flat-bottomed steering wheel with controls for the MID and infotainment screen can be seen in the video. Surprisingly, we don’t see cruise control buttons, suggesting that Citroen is not offering this feature. It also misses push button start/stop button.
The SUV gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV gets manual AC control, and there are AC vents and controls mounted on the roof for rear passengers. There are several storage compartments and cupholders in the cabin. The door pads get leatherette upholstery, while the dashboard is all hard plastic. The SUV comes in both 5 and 5+2 seater configurations. In the 7-seater version, the third-row seat can either be folded or completely removed to make more space. The vlogger mentions that the seats felt comfortable, except for the third row. The cabin does not feel very premium compared to the competition. The C3 Aircross is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, which will be able to produce a maximum of 110 Ps and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The manufacturer is yet to offer an automatic transmission with the SUV.
