Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has been applauded several times for his performance in the ground. He is one of the recognised faces in the Indian cricket team and like many players in the team, Shikhar Dhawan also has a good taste in expensive and luxury cars. The cricketer added a brand new BMW M8 coupe to his collection last year and recently Shikhar Dhawan shared couple of more pictures of him with the car on social media.
The images have been shared by shikhardofficial on his Instagram profile. Last year when Shikhar Dhawan took delivery of the BMW M8 Coupe, BMW had shared his pictures on Twitter. BMW M8 is one of the most powerful cars sold by the manufacturer in India. BMW M8 coupe is actually a performance oriented version of BMW’s 8 Series Gran Coupe. BMW had officially launched the M8 in India back in 2020. Shikhar Dhawan went with the Metallic black shade which looks extremely good on the car. From the recent images that the cricketer has shared on Instagram, it looks like he has not done any modifications to it.
The image however gives a glimpse of the interior of his M8 Coupe. The rimless windows give it a sporty look and the Red interiors take things to the next level. The lower part of the dashboard and the seats and door pads are all finished in Red. There are two images of Shikhar Dhawan. In one of them he is standing outside the car and on the next one he is on the driver seat. The BMW M8 competes with cars like Audi RS7 Sportback, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 in the performance car segment. Just like a regular BMW, M8 also comes with signature kidney grille at the front. The headlamps are sleek looking units and it gets sculputed bonnet and aggressive looking front bumper.

As the name suggests, this is a coupe so the sloping roof design is expected in this 2-door car. One of the main attraction on the side profile of M8 Coupe are the wheels. It gets 20 inch alloy wheels but somehow they don’t look too big on the car. BMW has used carbon fibre at several places to reduce the weight and improve the performance. The roof of the car is one such area. There is an M-Spec rear diffuser and double flow exhaust system with twin tail pipes too.
Moving in BMW M8 Coupe offers a large 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, Merino leather upholstery, Sound system from Harman, M Sports seats, ambient lighting, Park Assist Plus, 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, BMW Display Key and so on. BMW M8 draws power from a 4.4 litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine generates a maximum of 592 Bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and the power is sent to all the wheels using M-Spec xDrive AWD system. M8 can do 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. The price of a brand new M8 coupe is over Rs 2 crore, ex-showroom.
