Most recently, the “Dangal” movie fame actress Fatima Sana Shaikh also joined the Mercedes-Benz family. The actress bought herself a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLE 300d luxury SUV worth Rs 1.15 crore.
A video showing Fatima Sana Shaikh with her newly purchased Mercedes-Benz SUV has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You. In this short clip, the actress was seen arriving at a restaurant in Mumbai in her new GLE 300d luxury SUV. She was seen getting a picture with a paparazzo and was also seen greeting little kids outside the restaurant.

From the video, it can be noted that the actress has bought herself the new GLE finished in the classy shade of Obsidian Black Metallic. This is a very popular color chosen by the celebrities of Bollywood for their cars. As for the variant, the actress has chosen the GLE 300d variant of this SUV.
This particular variant comes powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine. This motor generates a maximum power of 245 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can do 0-100 kmph in 7.2 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 225 kmph.
Apart from this engine option, Mercedes-Benz offers the GLE with another engine option. This engine is a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine that generates 365 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. It is offered with the more expensive GLE 450 variant.
For the performance enthusiasts, the company also offers a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 435 Bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. This variant is the AMG variant of the GLE, and it is priced at Rs 1.64 crore, ex-showroom.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE sits between the bigger GLS and the smaller GLC SUVs from the brand. It comes equipped with a ton of luxury features including four-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a similarly sized fully digital instrument cluster.
It also gets electrically adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, hands-free parking, powered tailgate, and so on. The SUV also offers leather-wrapped seats, a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, and a ton of other features.
