Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Turned Into Modern-Day Plymouth Hemi Cuda

The perfect companion to this is one of two 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cudas at the same auction. This mint Cuda, one of just 108 produced for the 1971 model year, has an award-winning history under its last owner, who owned it since 1994. Beyond this, its entire ownership history is known.

It’s an original matching-numbers car with the original 426 cubic inch Hemi V8 under the hood paired to the original automatic transmission – one of only 48 made in this spec.

We don’t use the term ‘minter’ lightly here, as the car previously underwent a full frame-off restoration. It wears TorRed exterior paint with a V1X Black vinyl top and traditional black HEMI billboard decals over an H6XV orange and black interior.

It won several awards in the early 2000s, and in 2008, it was featured in the Mopar Action magazine.

Expected to fetch $350,000-$450,000 next month, this original is the perfect match for the retromod above.
