Should that be too rich for your blood, Dodge offers a cheaper alternative with just the long-block Hellephant C170 for $18,995 with the standard upgraded internals, including cylinder heads, connecting rods, and pistons.
It’s not the only crate motor added to the Direct Connection catalog, though, as long-block variants of popular favorites are now available.
A Hellcrate 6.2-liter Redeye long-block producing 807 hp and 717 lb-ft of torque costs $12,995, while a non-Redeye version with only 717 hp and 656 lb-ft will set you back $9,495.
