There’s a new Ford Mustang on the loose, and the Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis is thrilled about it; he’s convinced the Dodge Challenger and its eventual successor(s) will remain different.
Speaking to Muscle Cars And Trucks, Kuniskis, a horsepower-loving car guy, acknowledged that both the latest generation Mustang, internally referred to as the S650, and the sixth-gen Chevy Camaro are “great cars. But we do things differently than they do. We don’t consider them – not that we don’t consider them to be a competitor because, of course, they’re competitive – but we don’t try to do the things that they’re doing,” he explained. “They’re going in one direction, and we go in another direction. We’ve been doing it for a decade, and we’re going to continue to do that.”
