Dodge’s Throwdown: The First Of A Three-Day New Product Reveal Is Packed With Tons Of Good Stuff

Over the past decade or so, we’ve come to learn that when Dodge says they’ve got something to show, we might want to pay attention. They dropped the Hellcat in 2015 and basically told everybody else to shut up. They then proceeded to shove that engine into damn near any and every vehicle they could. We got a retro coupe that kept the spirit of 1970 alive, a four-door sedan that could put supercars in their place, an SUV that brought the joy back to driving one, and they even shared the wealth with the off-roaders, giving Jeep a V8 for the Wrangler and giving Ram the power to go along with the off-road chops to make Raptor owners sick to their stomach. They’ve done it with bright colors, loud exhaust, and tire smoke, sure. But they’ve also done it in a way that hasn’t been cartoonish, and they’ve held on when it seems like every other manufacturer on the planet has decided that it’s time to shove humans into little electrified pods that suck out loud.

For the Woodward Dream Cruise, Dodge has decided to spend three days unveiling a whole hoard of new products. Most of them were announced Monday evening. Two brand-new products will be unveiled Tuesday and Wednesday. But trust us, the first announcement is a winner:

  1. Complete Roller Challenger, certified to 7.50
  2. Body-In-White Challenger
  3. Direct Connection Supercharger Kits
  4. Direct Connection/Speedkore Late-Model Vehicle Body Panels in Carbon Fiber
  5. Direct Connection/Speedkore 1970 Charger, Road Runner and ‘Cuda in Carbon Fiber
  6. Dodge Challenger Convertible authorized conversions by Droptop Customs
  7. 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
  8. Demanded paint colors for 2023 vehicles: Sublime, Plum Crazy, B5 Blue, and Destroyer Gray
  9. “Six Unique Special Editions” that cannot be ordered. They will be shipped to top-performing dealerships.
  10. Special variation going to SEMA with the coded license plate: 1FAST29 (Michigan)
