Most recently, a video of a Maruti Suzuki Alto doing a 360-degree turn on a road due to the driver being heavily drunk has been shared online. Thankfully, no one in this video gets hurt.

This video of the drunk Maruti Alto driver has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh. As per the creator, this video has been shared from Kerala. In this short video, an older generation Maruti Alto can be seen being driven very recklessly on public roads. The creator highlights that the driver of this car was heavily intoxicated.
We can also observe this as the car driver was barely able to keep the car in his lane. At first, we can see that he recklessly overtakes an auto just before a sharp turn. After this, we can also note that he made this turn very aggressively, and because of this, the car drifted.
Following this, he somehow managed to get his vehicle back in his lane. However, just a few moments later, in a different turn, his car made a complete 360-degree turn. What happened was that he turned to the right, but due to the lack of control, his car’s rear wheel went on the grass on the side of the road.
After this, his car became uncontrolled and made a 360-degree turn. It then ended up on the other side of the road. We can see that his car’s rear wheels got lodged on the grass. After this, he stops for a few moments. However, after that, he continues to drive the vehicle and brings it out.
What happened next?
After this, the car from which this video was being recorded started following this vehicle. It can be seen that they were honking the horn in order to stop the vehicle driver. Finally, after driving through the middle of the city, the car driver stopped his vehicle on the left.
Has this man been arrested?
At the moment, there are no reports which have mentioned if this man was caught by the police authorities or not. Most likely, he might have been caught as the registration plate of this vehicle was clearly visible. Thankfully, no serious accident took place because of this reckless drunk driver on the road.

As per the reports, in 2023, India saw a significant increase in the number of drunk driving cases. It was reported that last year, Delhi Traffic Police issued over 10,000 challans by mid-year. Apart from this, over 6.4 million challans were issued across the country.
Drunk driving, particularly, has led to increased arrests and fatalities. The legal limit for blood alcohol content (BAC) is 0.03%. Anything above this makes the person subject to fines up to Rs 10,000 or imprisonment for up to six months.
The most recent and notable drunk driving accident, which claimed the life of two IT professionals, took place in Pune this year. A 19-year-old boy driving his father’s Porsche Taycan Turbo S electric sedan worth Rs 2.44 crore crashed into the bike of the victims. The car was being driven at speeds upwards of 200 kmph.
