The front receives the most significant overhaul, though, with a blacked-out grille, the removal of the tri-pointed star on the hood, a new front bumper, and LED headlight clusters with the black-out treatment.
Tons more details still need to come to light, but if the looks set the tone for what’s coming, we can’t wait to learn more.
HWA, of course, knows what it’s doing. Not only was it started by one of the original AMG founders, but HWA has been prepping racing Mercedes for decades. Factory-backed Mercedes race cars like the AMG GT3 and AMG GT4 are prepped by HWA, as was the Mercedes CLK GTR, which also builds race-spec engines like the V12 used in the Pagani Huayra R.
If anyone can do justice with a 190E restomod, it’s HWA.
