Today marks a significant step in the automotive industry with Fisker’s release of detailed information about the Fisker Rōnin Super GT, its new high-performance all-electric convertible that aligns automotive art and design with sustainability. Showcased at Fisker’s first Product Vision Day on August 3, 2023, the Rōnin Super GT is set to redefine the EV market. Fisker’s Chairman and CEO, Henrik Fisker, expressed the company’s aspiration to create a 21st-century grand touring car engineered for those who seek to travel the landscapes of Los Angeles to Napa Valley on a single charge or embrace high speeds on the autobahn without worrying about battery capacity. Priced at $385,000, with reservations now open, the Rōnin Super GT is targeted for delivery in the second half of 2025, with a limited run of 999 vehicles.
The Rōnin’s design emphasizes speed and exceptional utility, a response to the trend of performance manufacturers introducing SUVs. It accommodates five passengers and offers unique cargo capacity, making it rare in the supercar industry. The car’s projected 0-60mph time of about two seconds and a 170mph top speed matches or surpasses current competitors while also delivering an impressive range. Design innovations like rear butterfly doors and front doors that open electrically enhance accessibility. All doors and the foldable, carbon-fiber hardtop can be controlled via a smartphone, ensuring convenience without compromising luggage space. Engineered using a unique aluminum space frame with integrated battery cells, the Fisker Rōnin aims for a 600-mile range. Lightweight materials and carbon-fiber 23-inch wheels are combined with interior standards that set a benchmark for sustainable luxury. Fisker is determined to make the Rōnin the world’s most sustainable supercar using recycled and eco-friendly materials.
