Ford’s compact Bronco Sport has been revised for MY2025. The baby Bronco receives more technology, new functional updates, and, importantly, greater off-roading capability. The big news for 2025 is the introduction of the first-ever Sasquatch package for the 1.5-liter Outer Banks and the 2.0-liter Badlands trims.
The Sasquatch trim receives a twin-clutch rear-drive unit and locking rear differential. This was previously reserved for the Bronco Sport Badlands but is now available for the Outer Banks. The Sasquatch receives larger 235/65/R17 Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires which, according to Ford, are the largest in the class.

Designed specifically for the Bronco Sport Sasquatch, the tire was adapted from the larger Bronco and receives reinforced sidewalls and an open-tread design. The Bronco Sport Badlands and Badlands Sasquatch receive a Rally Mode as part of the G.O.A.T (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) system. The new driving mode allows the vehicle to cope with sand driving, holding onto gears for longer, sharpening the throttle response, and increasing steering feedback.

Ford Performance has released both matte and gloss carbon fiber exterior accessories for the Bronco Raptor, and they’re not cheap.
While Rally Mode is available exclusively for the Badlands and Badlands Sasquatch, all Bronco Sport models receive a new Off-Road mode. What’s more, the Bronco Sport receives off-road tech borrowed from the larger Bronco and Raptor line of vehicles. This includes Trail One-Pedal Drive, which makes rock crawling that bit easier. A driver need only use the throttle to maintain speed; removing their foot from the pedal will bring the SUV to a stop.

Loads Of Sasquatch-Specific Content
The 2025 Bronco Sport can also be specified with a 360-degree camera with Trail View. This system makes off-roading much safer by enabling a clear view of surrounding obstacles and width-accurate tire overlays for easy vehicle placement. Users won’t need to remember to turn it on as it activates automatically in Off-Road and Rally modes. Customers can also choose a 360-degree camera with a Split View function; it uses cameras under the side-view mirrors that show the front tires. Other Sasquatch-specific changes include class-exclusive Bilstein rear shocks with position-sensitive damping and piggyback reservoirs. Thanks to new front and rear springs, the ride height has been increased by four-tenths compared to the Sport Badlands. With the Sasquatch package, suspension travel sits at 8.3 inches up front and 8.7 inches at the rear. The Sasquatch also receives a standard front brush guard, steel skid plates, four recovery points, and accessory-ready front and rear numbers with steel bash plates.

Welcomed Interior Updates For 2025 Bronco Sport
Of course, if you don’t require the hardcore capability of the Sasquatch, there’s a Black Diamond Off-Road package. While it does without the rear drive unit, it does receive steel underbody protection, four recovery points, and as much as 2,200 lbs of towing capacity. When properly equipped, the Bronco Sport with the 2.0-liter can lug up to 2,700 lbs.
