The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning just received another update, this time in the form of a new Flash trim level. In fact, CarBuzz actually picked up on the trademark for this new trim level back in June of this year. The Lightning Flash is based on the mid-level XLT trim, adding highly requested features for a $69,995 starting price.
As a reminder, the XLT on which it is based costs $57,495. $12,500 might sound like a big price increase, but the Flash adds some significant upgrades over the XLT, including the extended-range battery. This brings the range from 240 miles up to 320 miles.
Other additional features include a 15.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, intelligent access with push-button start and keypad, a wireless phone charger, a power tailgate, a tailgate step, the Tow Technology Package, and a heat pump. That is a ton of stuff for the money, especially when you consider that last year’s 2023 XLT Extended Range was also priced at $69,995 but did not include the Tow Technology Package.
