Ford is introducing a new off-road package for its Bronco line that brings increased capability and style with the new Bronco Sport Black Diamond Off-Road Package. The automaker also announced that it is expanding Bronco Off-Roadeo access for customers purchasing a new 2023 Bronco Sport vehicle.
“For adventurers who want to get more from their Bronco Sport, we’re enhancing the ownership experience by offering more trail capability with the new Black Diamond Off-Road Package, plus an included opportunity to learn what their SUV can do at Bronco Off-Roadeo,” said Mark Grueber, Enthusiast Vehicle Marketing Manager. “Today, nearly 90% of Bronco Sport customers that attend Off-Roadeo are likely to go off-roading again, and 97% of customers are more knowledgeable and confident doing so, furthering our goal of getting into the wild.”
Available on the Big Bend and Outer Banks series models, the Black Diamond Off-Road Package delivers enhanced off-road capability, adding four steel bash plates covering key 4×4 powertrain areas like the front metal skid plate, fuel tank protection, and canister shield. The Black Diamond Off-Road package also features a set of unique 17-inch Carbonized Gray low-gloss aluminum wheels with 225/65R17 all-terrain tires for increased grip and traction. The package includes a matte black hood graphic with the iconic Bronco horse logo, featuring lower bodyside graphics with Bronco lettering on both the driver and front passenger doors.
Beginning with the 2023 model year, every Bronco Sport owner and order-holder will receive complimentary Bronco Off-Roadeo adventure access and trail guide instruction. Each of the four Bronco Off-Roadeo experiences allows drivers to test their skills across miles of curated trails for a day, simultaneously educating them about the capabilities and performance of their specific Bronco Sport SUV model.
Each Bronco Off-Roadeo location is designed for all skill levels and offers drivers an unforgettable experience led by a litany of off-road experts. Instructors will guide attendees and show them how to maximize their Bronco’s rugged off-road capabilities while also providing owners with the ultimate opportunity to build their confidence and explore everything Bronco models have to offer. Bronco Off-Roadeo adventure playgrounds are located in Horseshoe Bay (near Austin, Texas), Mt. Potosi (near Las Vegas, Nevada), Gilford, New Hampshire, and Moab, Utah.
The Bronco Off-Roadeo experience is now included on all Bronco models, and the Bronco Sport Black Diamond Off-Road Package is now available for ordering at Ford dealers.
