In the most recent scenario of breaking the law, a video has been shared from Goa where a tourist in a self-drive rental Toyota Fortuner made an abrupt U-turn over a divider. This video was shared on the internet, and thankfully, Goa police quickly managed to find this vehicle and slapped a fine on the driver and the company that rented the car.

Toyota Fortuner Drives Over Divider
This video of the Toyota Fortuner driving over a divider and making a U-turn has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of In Goa 24X7. It starts off with the white-colored Toyota Fortuner making a U-turn on a busy road. It can be noted that there was no turn on the road.
So rather than following the traffic rules and making a legal U-turn, this Toyota Fortuner driver decided to cross the road by driving over a divider. Thankfully, this video was captured by an alert person on the road, and it was shared on the internet. It can be noted that the road was very busy, and the driver still made this abrupt turn.
Was This Driver Caught?
As mentioned, as soon as the video went viral on the internet, the Goa traffic police started their investigation. Following which, it was found that this car was rented by a tourist from Haryana and it belonged to Rent-A-Car.
It was then reported that the police authorities fined this tourist Rs 500 and also impounded this Toyota Fortuner. The police shared a picture of the officials with the Fortuner impounded by them.

A number of netizens have appreciated the quick response from the traffic police of Goa. However, some netizens have also stated that they have been very lenient with the person driving the car.
One of the netizens commented, “Why impound the vehicle and make the owner suffer… rather impose a heavy fine of at least a lakh and imprisonment of three days for putting other motorists at risk… kindly make such provision if the cops need some respect from tourists.”
Tourists in Goa Regularly Break Laws
This is not the first time that a tourist in Goa has been caught for breaking the law. On the contrary, this, unfortunately, has become very regular. Just a few weeks ago, another incident was reported from Goa. In this case, a tourist in a rental Hyundai i20 was caught after crashing his car into numerous other cars.
The weird part about this incident was that after he was caught for crashing his car into other cars, he started dancing on the public road. In a video which was shared on the internet, this man was seen taking out a massive speaker on the road after getting pulled over. He then played music on the road and started dancing.
All of the people who stopped after chasing him for a while were in shock. The man was seen arguing with other car drivers and passengers after crashing into their cars. Most likely, this man was intoxicated and was under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Whether he was arrested or not was not reported.
