Kodner traditionally holds a major jewelry auction to mark the December holiday season. This season’s auction is perhaps our very finest collection of jewels and timepieces representing many of the world’s most important jewelry and watch designers and makers.
The highlight of the evening auction sale is Lot 70, an important Graff GIA-certified 21.99-carat emerald-cut diamond and platinum ring. This very large diamond is masterfully cut and displays its full brilliance. The pre-auction estimate for this magnificent gem is $1,200,000-$1,800,000.
A pre-sale favorite is a stunning pair of vintage David Webb 43.58-carat diamond and 18K white gold multi-strand dangle earrings. They are breathtakingly beautiful! Also drawing lots of attention is the Tiffany & Co rare black opal, diamond, and platinum ring. The opal shows a great play of vivid colors.
Included in the collection of men’s fine timepieces is a Richard Mille RM 67-02 “Sebastien Ogier” carbon-TPT watch. Among several Audemars Piguet is the very rare, limited edition Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Skeleton in 18K yellow gold (sealed in box). Patek Philippe watches are well-represented and include the very desirable 5980/1R in rose gold. A Rolex Daytona Ref. 116506, platinum with chocolate brown bezel, is a standout.
