Exotic cars like Porsche and Lamborghini are gaining popularity in India. However, they are still not a very common sight on Indian roads. This is not the case in countries like the UAE, where it is common to see older people driving expensive cars. In contrast, such scenes are rare in India. There are several reasons for this. Here we have a video that is different from what we usually see. In this video, two Indian grandmas go for a spin in a Lamborghini Huracan and Urus in Dubai. The video was shared by Anand on his Instagram page.

It starts with Anand and his grandma sitting inside a Mercedes-Benz. He asks his grandma whether he should buy a Ferrari or a Porsche. Interestingly, his grandma, who is sitting in the passenger seat, says he should not get either. Instead, she suggests he should get a Lamborghini.

This is interesting because most Indian grandparents are not familiar with expensive car brands, but she is very specific about the brand. The video is captioned, “Age is just a number when it comes to horsepower and grandmas!” In the next shot, we see two grandmas standing next to two Lamborghinis: a Huracan and a Urus.

Both cars are in Dubai, and the grandson probably flew his grandmas to Dubai to take them for a ride in the Lamborghinis. One grandma gets into the Huracan while the other gets inside the Urus. Getting in and out of a low-slung sports car is extremely difficult, especially for older people.

In this case, both grandmas sit inside the cars, and the drivers take them for a drive in the desert. As we know, the Lamborghini Urus is a proper SUV with a 4WD system. It can handle dune bashing and off-roading. However, due to the expensive nature of this vehicle, people are often hesitant to take it to such places.

The driver takes the Urus into the sand a couple of times, while the Huracan is driven on the road. They both have fun on and off the road, and the video ends there. The grandmas did not drive the cars. In Dubai, all vehicles have steering on the left-hand side, which is why we see the grandmas getting into the cars from the right side.

The Lamborghini Urus seen here is the Italian supercar manufacturer’s first-ever four-door SUV to hit the production line. It quickly became popular among wealthy buyers around the world and is, in fact, the fastest-selling Lamborghini globally.

The Urus in the video appears to be the Performante version, which is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo, V8 engine that generates 666 PS and 850 Nm of peak torque. The Performante version generates 16 PS more power than the older version.

The Huracan is also a popular car in India, replacing the iconic Gallardo. It is a two-seater sports car powered by a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine. The Lamborghini Urus costs around Rs 4-4.22 crore, and the Huracan’s price starts at Rs 4 crore and goes up to Rs 4.99 crore (all prices are ex-showroom).
