CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Students at Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids are preparing for their final electric car races of the season.
It’s a student-run program where students build and race cars across the Midwest. They’re completely funded by sponsorships from local businesses.
The three cars compete in braking, handling, endurance, documentation and design.
The group has two races left – one at Hawkeye Downs and another at Prairie Middle School.
