The Kia EV9 electric SUV will reportedly influence the styling of the upcoming 2024 Kia EV6 facelift, and this will debut towards the middle of next year. The car will get “a cleaner front end and more distinctive daytime running lights.”
This is according to Kia Europe’s marketing director, David Hilbert, who spoke to Auto Express about the EV’s evolution. “Sometime in the future, there will be enhancements to [EV6], and having that common design language [with EV9] will be something to look forward to.”
We suspect this will mean sharper, more angular headlights and taillights, but with the rounded edges of the current model, we wonder if this more jagged look will work. Kia will likely give the body harder edges to suit the new look.
