Lamborghini’s versatile performance machines take on the Alps.
Winter isn’t usually a great time to experience supercars, but when those supercars are versatile enough to take on and dominate various terrain situations, you can unlock a whole new world of stunning vistas, thrilling drives, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. That’s what Lamborghini’s adventure in the French Alps did, and the versatile performance abilities of the Huracán Sterrato and the Urus S delivered the experience.
Guests of the incredible Courchevel experience stayed at Le K2 Palace, which is an ultra-exclusive resort that is part of the Himalayan-inspired “Le K2 Collections,” offering sweeping Alpine views, Tibetan-inspired decor, and elevated French cuisine. However, the cars involved, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, and the Lamborghini Urus S, were the stars of the show. V8 and V10 engines roared as the vehicles covered over 120 miles of the Trois Vallées, one of the world’s largest linked ski areas.
A watchmaking experience with Roger Dubuis added a touch of horological luxury to the itinerary, highlighting two new models of the Excalibur Spider MB Huracán, which is inspired by the long-standing partnership between Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini Squadra Corse, as well as giving guests an up-close-and-personal appreciation for the incredible degree of precision, craftsmanship, and care required to create a Roger Dubuis piece.
While winter usually isn’t the time for supercars, the versatile, capable, and thrilling Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato and Urus S showed off a one-of-a-kind thrilling winter thrill in the Alps, with luxurious accommodations and experiences to match.
