During its brief career, the Skyline GT-R scored wins at the Sendai Highland GT, finishing 15 seconds ahead of the next car. Just six weeks later, Hasemi Motorsport’s creation would conquer the grueling 24 Hours of Tokachi, finishing ten laps ahead of second place.
During the 1995 series, the Skyline made just a single appearance in the GT 300 championship, racing at Suzuka Circuit. Masahiro Hasemi used the car for this race while waiting for his new R33 Skyline. After refurbishment, the car was retired and displayed in Jasemi Motorsport’s offices.
For motorsport enthusiasts and Skyline GT-R connoisseurs, this exceptional classic racer would be a crown jewel in any collection. With an incredible backstory, myriad successes, and an iconic livery, we wouldn’t be surprised if it sells for more than the $275,000-$340,000 estimate, about the same as 2.5 modern R35 Nissan GT-R supercars. Interestingly, it would cost more to fully restore a road-going version of the iconic R32 Skyline GT-R.
