Mahindra Thar Roxx deliveries have started, and people have begun posting videos and images of the deliveries online. Many customers even got their brand-new Roxx SUVs modified right after taking delivery. The SUVs have started reaching dealerships, and people are looking for unique ways to make their deliveries special. Here, we have a video that shows how a man came to the dealership on a camel to take delivery of his new Thar Roxx.
The video has been shared by The MP04 Rider on his YouTube channel. In this video, we see a usual daily vlog where the vlogger talks about the things he plans to do. He then gets ready and starts his journey to the dealership. He is traveling with his family to the dealership, and he mentions that he has made special arrangements to make the delivery memorable.
The vlogger claims that this is Bhopal’s first Mahindra Thar Roxx. So, he wanted to make this memorable for his family and the dealership. He hired a couple of camels for the occasion. He said the Mahindra Thar is associated with the desert, and camels are often known as the “ship of the desert.”
The Mahindra Thar Roxx also has small camel graphics on the windshield. The vlogger and his wife sit on top of the camel, and then they both arrive at the dealership on the camel. It should be noted that they were not handling the animal. The camels had the trainer or keeper with them the whole time. They got down from the animal’s back in front of the dealership and then went inside to finish the paperwork and take delivery.
The vlogger had opted for the SUV in a red shade. The religious rituals were conducted, and after this, they took delivery of the SUV and drove home. It doesn’t seem like the vlogger bought the top-end variant because we do not see a panoramic sunroof. However, it does come with ventilated front seats, automatic transmission, and a multi-function steering wheel.
The exact variant details of the SUV are not known at the moment. We then see the SUV on the road with the vlogger and his friend standing out of the sunroof. While we understand that the vlogger was celebrating the moment, we do not recommend this at all. It is extremely dangerous, and one must avoid doing such stunts on public roads at all costs.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is one of the most popular SUVs on the market at the moment. The demand for this SUV is quite high, and the waiting period is over two months in almost all cities. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The diesel version gets a 4×4 option. The SUV is available with a 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged diesel engine that generates 172 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the Thar Roxx uses a 2.0-litre mStallion series turbocharged engine that generates 174 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque.
Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options. The price for the Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
