Recently, shocking every other driver on the road in Gujarat, two boys were seen taking a crocodile on a scooter. Yes, you heard that right, a crocodile being taken on a scooter. A video of this unique spectacle has now been shared online, and it can be seen that the crocodile was safely transported to the Forest Department office on a scooter by two young men.

The video of these boys taking a crocodile on a scooter has been shared on X. It comes courtesy of SwatKat. In this short clip, it can be noted that there is a scooter on which one person is riding at the front. Meanwhile, the person in the rear is sitting with a crocodile on his lap.
We can note that the mouth of the crocodile was closed with the help of black tape. This video is from Surat, Gujarat. It can be observed that other riders on the road were equally shocked after seeing a crocodile on the scooter. The person in the rear was wearing an Indian Medical Association, Vadodara t-shirt.
Where were they taking this crocodile?
As per the video, these young men were taking this crocodile to the Forest Department’s office in Surat. Most likely, what happened is that this crocodile might have come to the building of IMA Vadodara due to the recent flooding in Gujarat. Following this, it might have gotten stuck, so it was being rescued.
Not the first time
This is not the first time that a wild animal like a crocodile has been seen on a public road. Just a while ago in Chennai, a massive crocodile was seen crossing a busy road. A video of this crocodile on the road was recorded by a driver of a car. It showed a person starting to record the video when the crocodile was in the middle of the road.
It then started heading towards the bushes on the side of the road, and soon after this, the car driver also moved a little closer. A Swiggy delivery agent on his scooter was also seen slowly moving and checking out the crocodile as it was heading towards the side of the road.
Why do wild animals come so close to humans?
In the past few years, we have seen many such instances of wild animals coming to cities and entering people’s houses or roaming in the streets. The primary reason behind the increasing number of such instances has to do with urbanization and industrialization.
As cities are now growing at a rapid pace, more and more forests are being cut down to inhabit. Due to this, wild animals are losing their homes. Sometimes, because of this, they come near human civilization, and people who spot them start panicking.
Other incidents
Generally, when these wild animals stray into human civilization, they do not start attacking people. They also have a fear of death, so they try to escape as quickly as possible. However, when humans sometimes come into the territory of such wild animals, they can become aggressive and attack.
A while ago, a video of one such similar attack on two motorcyclists while riding through a jungle road was shared online. In this video, it was noted that the person sitting on the rear seat was recording a video. He then noticed that a tiger was running on the side of the road and was charging toward them.
He immediately screamed, and the rider accelerated the bike. Due to this, the tiger could not get ahold of the bikers, crossed the road, and went into the jungle. This video at the time went viral as it showed how in just a few moments a tiger can come so close to a human and attack out of nowhere.
