As with the previous spy shots, this EQG prototype is wearing a black and blue topographical camouflage wrap to disguise its styling. That being said, it’s clear that the EQG will look very similar to the G-Class, albeit with different wheels, a unique bumper, and other small changes.
We know the EQG will pack four electric motors, and may even spawn a more powerful AMG variant. It will ride on a body-on-frame platform, not the EVA2 electric architecture used by the EQS and EQE. The electric G-Class is still in the development phase, gearing up for its 2024 reveal.
