Curiously, the tracks are installed on each wheel like the Nissan Rogue Warrior Trail one-off project presented in 2017. Unfortunately, the short video above didn’t show the Mini Cooper S on the move, so we wouldn’t know how it was set up. But for what it’s worth, if it were to be AWD, it should be able to move and turn on snow more easily (without actually just dragging the two tracks at the rear).
As for the engine, this Mini should be powered by a 1.6-liter supercharged inline-four if it remained stock. This mill is good for 168 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Despite the rise of EV conversions on Minis, this unit isn’t electric as its exhaust pipes are still showing.
