Comparatively, the Delica D:5, presumed to be using its stock 2.2-liter diesel, makes a modest 170 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque. Like its bigger truck sibling, it also gets a locking diff and a 4WD system.
The AXCR is one tough motorsport event. It consists of a 1,200-mile break-neck journey from Thailand to Laos, covered mainly by jungle terrain. Plus, Team Mitsubishi Ralliart is the defending AXCR champion, so it will face stiff competition from teams hungry to steal the prestigious title.
