Over the years, the road network of India has become a lot more developed than it was before. However, there is no doubt that we are still far away from the standard of roads that are needed to drive supercars easily everywhere. Recently, a video showing one such poor road in which a few supercars had to struggle has been shared online. In this clip, an Audi R8 and a Ferrari 812 GTS were seen struggling to cross a very rough patch of road.

Supercars vs. rough roads
This video of the two supercars carefully crossing a speed breaker and broken road has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Car Crazy India. This short clip starts with a matte grey Audi R8 supercar struggling to cross a speed breaker on a road. As per the post, this video was recorded in Mysore.
In the same frame, we can also note that a Rosso Corsa (red) Ferrari 812 GTS supercar was also struggling with the same issue. This particular road had a speed breaker with which both supercars faced problems. Generally, supercar drivers manage their way around such speed breakers by driving at an angle.
However, the problem here was that the road around the speed breaker was also in extremely poor condition. We can also see that a modified Mini Cooper hatchback, which also had very low ground clearance, was struggling to cross this rough patch of road in Mysore.
Indian roads and supercars: Not a match made in heaven
Over the years, we have seen numerous videos of supercars being driven on Indian roads that are far less than ideal for such cars. Most recently, a video of a Rs 7 crore Lamborghini Aventador SVJ driving around extremely narrow Indian roads was shared online. In this short clip, this rare supercar was seen crossing puddles and speed breakers.
Prior to this, we also saw a video of an Audi R8 owner taking his supercar through an extremely bad road. This owner wanted to take his Audi R8 to a resort. However, the road to this resort was in an extremely poor condition with mud all across.
Speed breakers: Arch nemesis of supercars
Apart from bad road conditions, another one of the biggest hurdles that supercars face in India are speed breakers. One of the most notable incidents took place back in 2010. It happened when the French automaker Bugatti brought its hypercar Veyron to India to show to potential clients.
At the time, a video of this hypercar almost getting stuck on a massive speed breaker went viral on the internet. At the time, the Veyron was the most powerful car to ever come to India. This hypercar comes equipped with a massive 8.0-litre W12 engine.
This engineering marvel engine produces a maximum of 1001 Bhp and 1,250 Nm of peak torque. It can hit a top speed of 407 km/h, which is electronically limited due to the tyres of the vehicles. Apart from this Bugatti struggling with speed breakers, there are numerous similar videos online.
