Tata Safari Adventure+ variant

Tata launched the all-new 2023 version of their flagship SUV, the Safari, in the market a few months ago. The car has started arriving at dealerships, and deliveries have also commenced. If you’re looking for a detailed first-drive review of the Safari facelift and the 2023 Tata Harrier, check out our website and YouTube channel. The all-new Safari is available in Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished variants. The Adventure Plus is a variant that offers more features than the Pure variant but slightly fewer than the top-end Accomplished variant. Here, we have a video that details the Adventure+ version of the Safari.

The video has been uploaded by Anubhav Chauhan on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger showcases the Tata Safari Adventure+ variant up close. The vlogger starts by displaying the SUV’s key fob, which is a normal one. The SUV features connecting LED DRLs that run across the width of the car. It also has dual-function LED DRLs. The SUV’s front grille has chrome foil, a faux skid plate, front parking sensors, and split LED headlamps that also function as fog lamps.

Moving to the side profile, the Adventure Plus variant comes only with 18-inch alloy wheels. The tailgate of the Safari doesn’t open electrically, but the SUV does feature all-LED tail lamps with a connected LED bar. The rear windscreen offers a wiper and defogger, along with a shark fin antenna and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the Safari features leatherette upholstery on the seats, with Tata offering a leather wrap on the dashboard and doors. The seats aren’t electronically adjustable as in the top-end variant, and the ventilation function is also missing from this variant. However, the SUV still comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, a multi-function steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, cruise control, and touch panels to control the AC and other functions.

The touchscreen infotainment in this variant is smaller than the one seen in the top-end variant. The car also comes with single-zone climate control and AC vents for third-row seats. The Adventure+ variant is decently equipped with features, including a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake, wireless phone charging, rain-sensing wipers, and more. This variant also gets a manual lever to actually slide the co-passenger seat to make more space for the rear seat passengers.

The Tata Safari is only available with a diesel engine, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The Adventure Plus variant is available with both manual and automatic transmission, with the automatic version even featuring paddle shifters. The price for the Tata Safari facelift starts at Rs 16.19 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 27.34 lakh, ex-showroom. The Adventure Plus manual version of the Safari is priced at Rs 22.49 lakh, ex-showroom, while the automatic version is priced at Rs 23.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The Dark Edition variant of the same trim costs Rs 23.04 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata also offers a trim with ADAS features, called Adventure Plus A variant, priced at Rs 23.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
