Nissan Unveils The Z GT4 At The 2022 SEMA Show

At this year’s 2022 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nissan unveiled the Nissan Z GT4 for the first time to the public.

The specially-constructed Nissan Z GT4 was first revealed at the end of September, complete with its traditional NISMO livery that ties in a taste of its past vintage racing heritage. The front hood displays Nissan’s exclusive number (23) within a rising sun circle, reminiscent of the brand’s early racing liveries of the ’70s. The nostalgia continues in the rear quarter panel, with the new Z logos highlighting the modern interpretation of the original 240Z and Fairlady Z badging and finished with the iconic Nissan and NISMO red and black color scheme.

“The SEMA Show is an ideal place to debut our Z GT4 to racers, enthusiasts, and the entire industry,” said Carcamo. “We are in the throes of preparing for the 2023 racing season – testing here locally this past weekend – and we look forward to continuing to talk with teams and continue to establish the Z as a force to be reckoned with on tracks around the world.”

Nissan/NISMO will provide cars to pilot customer teams in the US and Japan for the SRO Pirelli GT4 America series and Super Taikyu Series for the Nissan Z GT4’s inaugural 2023 season, with NISMO also offering technical support. Orders will be accepted through mid-2023, with vehicles scheduled to be supplied beginning in 2024.

Unfortunately for general consumers, this Nissan Z GT4 is a racing car. Therefore, it cannot be registered for use on public roads. But racing enthusiasts can rejoice, as it can be had with a price tag starting at $229,000, excluding shipment, tax, and handling charges.
