Fisker claims that the Ocean is worth the wait since it offers the longest range of any electric SUV in Europe in One and Extreme guises. In the UK, the Ocean is rated at 440 miles with the 20-inch wheels or 336-miles on the 22-inch wheels (WLTP measurements). The company ran its own independent tests and believes the SUV will be rated at 350 miles on the US EPA cycle. In other words, it will go 20 miles further than a Tesla Model Y and two miles further than a Model X.
“The entire Fisker team is excited to get the Fisker Ocean One launch edition to our reservation holders,” said Henrik Fisker ahead of the May 5th delivery. “We intend to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September while also initiating some deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe with the US to follow.”
