Monson Mavunkal, the conman from Kerala who was arrested by the Crime Branch last year for dealing in fake antique artifacts and scamming people, has once again surfaced in the news. As part of his plot to fake his wealth, Monson Mavunkal used several luxury cars. However, all these cars were actually bought from a used luxury car dealer. Just like others, Monson had also scammed the used car dealer and never paid him for the cars. When Monson got arrested, these cars were seized by the investigation agency. Now, the used car seller has finally obtained approval from the court to reclaim these vehicles from police custody.
The video has been shared by Manorama News on their YouTube channel. According to the report, six luxury cars from brands like Porsche, Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW have been lying in the impound yard of the Crime Branch office in Thrippunithura, Kochi for the past year. Monson Mavunkal used these cars to fake his wealth. However, the used car dealer from Bengaluru who sold these cars to Monson has come forward, stating that these cars were never owned by Monson and he has not paid for them either. The owner of Mahabaleshwara Service Station in Bengaluru filed a case, and after reviewing the documents, the court has finally instructed the police to return the cars.

We all know how cars and other vehicles are treated in a police impound yard. This case is no different. Most of the luxury cars parked in the compound have been damaged. These cars have not been used for the past year, and many of them are not even in working condition. Some cars have damaged windshields, while others have mechanical problems. The owner of these cars can be heard saying that Monson only made payment through cheques, but those cheques bounced when he tried to deposit them in the bank.
None of these cars are now fit to be driven on the road, so they will have to be loaded onto a flatbed and taken to a workshop to be restored. Monson had more than 30 cars parked at his rented house. He used to collect cars and use them to visit people, impressing them and projecting an influential image. However, despite having so many cars, only a few of them were in working condition.
The Porsche Cayenne seen in the video was actually an SUV that was once owned by popular Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor. It is a 2007 model Porsche luxury car, and the car is registered at Kareena Kapoor’s Mumbai residence. Monson bought this SUV from the Bengaluru-based used car dealer. The used car dealer can be heard saying that Monson initially used to rent cars from the agency. Once he established a connection with the people at the agency, he decided to buy these luxury cars and scam the used car dealer. The dealer is not even sure if they will be able to restore these cars.
